| This weeks riff is a run in A minor. It has a cool triplet feel and can be applied at any tempo. Also, a slight shift to a 16th note movement can increase versatility ever more. One thing to note about this one is that, even if you hate the sound of the riff, you should practice it anyway. It makes a great drill for improving dexterity and picking precision. Be sure to use all 4 fingers. Don’t neglect your pinky. Also, note the position shift. Watch the video to see how you can do this seamlessly. The recorded version of this is slow for clarity, but as you get comfortable with the mechanics, try to crank this one up. Enjoy! |
