Notice the timing of the note groupings.  Instead of just running through the phrase,
I chose to break it up as indicated by the spaces in the tab chart.  Listen to the
audio for the timing.  Try applying similar movements to your own runs instead of
just sprinting up and down a scale.  Also, in the video, you can see my fingering.
Notice the first finger slide from fret 5 on the G string to fret 4.  I like to slide those
notes in that position, particularly when I’m doing a descending run.  I like the
sound and the positions of the notes really lend themselves to that technique.
Also, notice that I resolved with my pinky.  Don’t neglect your pinky.  Doing so is like
buying a Muscle car and removing ¼ of the spark plugs.  If you haven’t been using
your pinky regularly, work it in slowly because it will be much weaker than the other
fingers.  Also, consider hand positions that maximize your reach.  (Classical
position)

With slight variations on the way you time the pauses, you can make this run fit into
just about any music style.
