Some books come with a CD featuring backing tracks. You can also find CDs if
you look hard enough. But, they all share a common flaw. They are simply a
short track generally featuring a drum machine and sampled instruments which
is looped. There are no dynamics! It's the same volume, intensity, tempo and
groove over and over and over...
Our tracks are much different. We have recorded our tracks in full! The idea is
to create a real jamming feel with dynamic variation and adjustments to the
groove. This way you can hone you phrasing skills while learning to respond to
a dynamic rhythm the same way you would in a real jam! We record these
tracks emulating the same variations we use when jamming with our students.
It's as close to being in the room with another guitarist as you can get without,
well... being in the room with another guitarist.

suggestions on phrasing.
